I went to the Fireworks/Music Festival at Ibaragi Prefecture today(9/18). Alan was the last one to perform. She appeared after the first half of the fireworks in a white/beige dress with mini-skirt and sang 3 songs.
1. Nada Sousou (the same version as heard on 'KnMH' single') 2. Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru (Of course, the full version!) 3. Natsukashii Mirai (along with the fireworks)
Her performing timeslot was a bit short considering she is the most famous artist perfomed at the event today. Some unknown Duo guys got to sing like 5 songs or sth. However, the good thing was that, in the afternoon, when any artists finished singing a song, the audience rarely applauded 'cuz their main interest was probably the fireworks which started at 6.30. But when Alan finished singing Nada Sousou, most of the audience clapped for her. I was so glad to see that! :D
As for the new song, I was also so glad that I could hear the full version of the song before the world today. The whole song was, in short, beautifully haunting. Even though there was no Tibetan wail, no extreme high notes and those stuff, the haunting melody, Alan's exquisite vocal and way of singing and the beautifully written sorrowful/painful lyrics made the song so awesome. It should be my and everyone's most favorite Alan's song soon. I admired everyone who produced this song. Such a great masterpiece! :) (And FYI, she repeats the first verse again in the higher key at the last part of song)
And when she was singing Natsukashii Mirai, the fireworks were also lighting up the sky. The song did fit the fireworks and the atmosphere quite well. At the last Tibetan wail part in the song, the most magnificent golden fireworks lit up the sky and ended her performance. The audience then gave a big round of applause. I have to admit it was the most epic combination of music and fireworks I've ever seen in my life. XD;
And also, while she was performing, I sneaked to the first row and waved at Alan 2 times. She also waved me back 2 times and smiled at me as well. I was so happy!!! She's such a lovely girl. ;P It was a great evening at Ibaragi with beautiful fireworks and our singing angel. ^_^
Sorry for the long post! ^^;
Thanks for sharing! I wish I live in Japan so I could see alan perform!
If you don't mind me asking, are you Japanese? Sorry if the question is personal, you don't have to answer.

^No, I'm not. :)
I just watched NHK Environment Pre-map(?) which showed the previews of October's Save the Future and COP10 stuff. Everything was only in 5 minutes. Alan appeared in some hall in Nagoya where COP10 meeting will be held then she walked around outside the building and said "There will be an anime I want kids to watch". Then Alan started to sing "Namonaki Tane" in acappella and they showed some clips from that "Wake up TAMALA" animation, then her acappella singing were linked to the studio/CD version which was the BGM in that anime's preview.
It's my first time hearing a studio version. I think her vocal here sounds a lot more powerful than in the live version at Alan Symphony 2010. Very impressive! Can't wait to hear the official preview/full song. This single is gonna be so great 'cuz both A-side and B-side seem to be very well-produced songs.

I think this is the video for save the part 2, Watching it right now
I don't think it's for October 2010 one. This one won't be aired until October 11th. It's about COP10 which focuses on Biological Diversity, not COP15 which focused on climate change. So I think that video is from last year :)
And FYI, NHK will air the whole COP10 and Save the Future from 8.15 AM to 10.49 PM on 10/11 so I think this will be a great exposure for Alan. People will also be singing Natsukashii Mirai live and Alan will also be appearing on some shows on that day. 'Wake Up TAMALA' will be aired on the afternoon show and Alan might be performing on some evening show as well.

That's not a bad choice, releasing 2 more singles and then the 3rd album.
I would love another singles project like the 5 elements one !
