| In the last part of the interview for AneCan's Dec'10 issue, Alan said that "The songs I'm making with the staff are a little bit different from what I've done before. I'm gonna show you 'the new Alan' little by little. From now on is Alan's 'Chapter 2'. It's begun."
I found that interesting! Chapter 2? I wonder what road she's gonna take from now on... Maybe more dance & upbeat music with real choreography? I'm so anticipating her future! |

| I agree with Pinguu, if she turn more into a pop artist I'm worried, I love the Alan that she is, and I know how everyone always criticize about my life that is not pier to voice of earth |

| I remember she replied to a fan once who asked her if she's worried that her music isn't mainstream enough and she said that as long as people like her music, she will continue to make them
(Or something to that effect, I can't really remember what she said, but basically she's not worried) |

Woww, sounds interesting!!! I hope more dance and upbeat music too!! I love her balladas a lot, but she is so young and she can sing more ballads later. I hope she can keep with ballads and upbeat songs in her carrer. And i would be so happy if she make songs like Gunjou no Tani |

| Bad news...
Alan's confirmed on twitter than she's not attending Kouhaku this year. This disappointed many fans so they tweeted to her saying stuff like "It's really weird how a great singer like you couldn't attend it", "I couldn't believe it. You're working so hard everyday", etc. Then Alan replied them "You guys' love for me is the most important〜 For me, you guys are more important than Kouhaku〜 So please don't worry、(^O^)／"
She is no nice...I'm impressed. I hope she can attend the Kouhaku next year then. I'm sure she'll get her era soon |

| Today's news 1. Alan got the "中国十大金牌歌手提名奨" award from China Radio and Television Association today (Pic@ http://twitpic.com/362rqa ) I'm not sure how to call that award in English but according to Mr.Kunio's explanation, it's because Alan's "My Moonlight" is chosen to be listeners' Top 10 of 2010(Gold medal of Pop genre). BTW, this award's started since 1984. Congrats to Alan! She and that song deserves this! :D 2. Her JP Official site's updated info about the new single but nothing's new to us. Also, her profile's revised a little. Check it out at alan-web.jp 3. Alan revealed more about the song in her today's blog entry. I'll translate some interesting parts. Click below to read - Spoiler:
"This new song is a theme song to historical movie/drama again. I'd be happy if you don't be surprised.
It's a collaboration song and my new genre. Before the recording, I felt so nervous but it went better than I thought so I feel so happy.
I actually received some vocal training for Opera when I was in university. But I never think I could use it today so I'm really really happy. It's unexpected that I could sing this kind of song
You guys might not think it's alan's song when you hear it. Please anticipate it! It'll be released on January 1st."
So it's confirmed to be an Opera song! Can't wait to hear how she'll sound :P

| X_X It sounds like she would have a hard time singing opera songs live...there's a reason why she never sings Da Jiang Dong Qu in its original pitch~

| Just got back from today's Hellosmile Live. She performed 3 songs. 1. Swear
2. Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru
3. Natsukashii MiraiOther performing artists were Tokyo Girls' Style, moumoon, Goto Maki and hitomi. Each of them sang 3 songs each except hitomo who got to sing 5. Alan was the 2nd one to perform. She came out with this doll-ish outfit which looked great on her. She was super cute and lovely in person! :D Detailed review - Spoiler:
Swear was little surprise 'cuz I didn't expect her to sing it here. She didn't have many chances to sing in front of a lot of people recently so I personally wanted her to sing something else that showcases her vocal talent more. Maybe Namonaki Tane or some great old stuff... (My guess is that she wanted to hype up a crowd 'cuz most of her songs are ballads. But if that's the case, 'Koko ni Iru' is be a better choice IMO) As for Kanashimi, it was emotional as usual. My only little disappointment would be Natsukashii Mirai. To be honest, I'm kind of tired of hearing it in her live. She's always sung this as the last song in her New-single release events(for 'KnMH' and also 'Kanashimi'), and even in the Ibaragi Firework live. It's kind of become her standard number that she would sing it wherever she has the live performance. I know how she loves the song and how it talks about good things. Ending with it in the her solo concerts with fans' singing was okay but, as a fan, I kind of want her to sing other songs that she rarely performed like 'my life' and etc as well. Anyway, sorry for my complaints... sorry if I sounded like a selfish fan. Actually I should respect her choices 'cuz that that's how she wants to impress the audience with. That's the image she wanted to be remembered by the audience. *kills himself* ^^; But yeah.. I guess it can't be helped. But overall, her performances were quite decent as always. Beautiful! Her singing didn't disappoint me as usual but the setlist of the performance...kind of...
And I got this leaflet and Kanashimi's poster before entering the hall  So the cover's confirmed.. Hopefully they film a good PV to compensate the simplicity of the cover :P

Ashita e no Sanka would totally get the audience pumped up imo :sneaky
And even though the cover is really simple....I really like it XD I'm such a sucker for simple colorful nature shots lol
