I'm not so sure but it looks like what alan's having is the LASIK eye surgery. I think she has problems with the contact lens and I guess that's why she's been wearing eyeglasses in recent pics. She even said she was watching some tv program and felt like crying but she couldn't in her recent tweets. Hope her operation goes well though :)

alan said on her latest blog that her eyes used to have -0.4 diopters myopia and now -1.5 if I'm not translating wrong.
woaaw I'm -5 diopters (0_0 ) I seriously need LASIK too LOL

^ but if going from -0.4 to -1.5 is a good thing then isn't -5 even better? xD (in other words the higher, the better)
I don't know anything about how they measure eyesight in Japanese though.

^ -5 is worst XD I don't know how to explain in English about myopia diopters, but my condition now, I can't even see things in range 1 meter in front of me clearly without glasses. If now I'm not wearing it I can't even read what's written on my laptop.
I'm scared someday I'll become blind actually hahaha :stress

I'll probably have this type of LASIK eye surgery when I grow up... French system of myopia rank isn't the same, but basically I've got one perfect eye (10/10) and the other one is 1/10. I think it dropped now even more. I can't see anything further my arm outstretched clearly, lol.

I hope she gets well, when I'll do this in some years, I'll think of her XD

I don't know if it'd be a good or a bad thing for alan to release a BEST.

If they put lots of nice advertising and promotion into it, then people will buy it out of curiousity and listen to all her, best songs...and it'd bring a lot more fans into alan's fanbase, which is what she needs. (Think of the sales if this happens! ; __ ; )

However, for the dedicated fans who have already listened to everything..this isn't so good. People might get bored, and plus, if the BEST isn't a hit, then she looks like she's just spamming a BEST because she's not getting inspiration for new songs.

I guess it's too early but come to think of it she has a lot of a-sides already - 16 if you count Ai wa Chikara.

But I guess I'm going to like it if the 2CD is true. It might be a best+studio album combination.

If it's a BEST+studio that wouldn't be too bad; kinda like what Koda Kumi did with UNIVERSE.

I'd like it if it included some of her latest lives too :hohoho
