when you open a new file in Photoshop, the default setting is 72 ppi, but once you change it to 300, then when you adjust the image size, it would be 2550x3300

I thought one image would be better looking, shifon helped me again, omg im so thankful

If you are using Photoshop, create new image by pressing ctrl+n, then a new page dialog box will appear. The default resolution is 72 pixels per inch, just change it to 300 like this:
