alan and Leslie Kee

Lately, alan who recently signed with Yuehua has been going to Japan to shoot for the promotion of her upcoming album. Yuehua has hired Leslie Kee for her comeback album and for the astonishing price of ¥1,000,000. In order to match up with alan's new image, the entire production team flew to Japan to capture the most honest alan. Also, the photogenic alan was invited by Leslie Kee to shoot for his photobook as the only Mainland Chinese fashion star.

Ever since singing the theme songs for  RED CLIFF and Bu Bu Jing Xin, alan's popularity has shot up in China. Since signing with Yuehua last November, alan has been working nonstop on preparing for her new album. Yuehua also invited Yuan Wei Ren, Qu Shi Cong, Xiao Ke and other top producers in the Chinese music industry to work on alan's album. alan also furthered herself in the production of the album by personally choosing the music and lyrics. The album will be released this April. The songs will include alan's dramatic style and the refreshing-city-love-song style which alan has never tried before.

And I don't really think Cpop albums are that cohesive like Jpop albums, so there may not be a certain style...

no matter how much I like it, alan's voice is too precious for that. I hope she makes them unique with vocals at least.

i'm actually really looking forward to this album, but i really hope it's not too generic cpoppy. because some of the good cpop i find is like REALLY good. i hope she gets to wail and experiment with different singing techniques. i'm excited to hear her sing in chinese style too ~
but i do like her japanese songs a lot more than her chinese ones :/

The investment is good but then I worry because spending money doesn't always been 'quality'!!!

Very happy that there's new music coming but I'm dreading that they will turn her great talent down the CPOP path...but let's be optimistic as alan has learned a lot from her career in Japan to stay true to her own music.
