You know how sometimes when you first hear a song, you're just "OMG THIS IS JUST THE BEST THING EVER!!!!" and then after a while when the hype has died down, you re-listen to the song and think "huh...this song is not as great as I thought"....

So are there any alan songs that made you feel this way?

One for me is Kaze ni Mukau Hana. I find the intro to be absolutely beautiful, but then the rest of the song is meh.

The only song I don't really like is “愛は力 performed by alan×福井敬” it's OK song at first, but after listing to it for while...the music dies easily.

I would have preferred this collab instead, 愛は力 performed by alan×王力宏

I agree about Kaze ni Mukau Hana though, now I often listen to the intro and skip the rest of the song. I guess other than that Namonaki Tane? I still like the song, but it doesn't capture my attention as much as it used to.

Usually her songs grow on me the more I listen to them though.

Yeah, Kaze ni Mukau Hana. The intro is so gorgeous but the rest doesn't really capture me anymore.

And, while I do still like Minna de ne, it's less stellar to me than before. don't kill me haha

Kaze ni Mukau Hana is one of my 2nd favourite song after Diamond. I don't know why most of you don't like it...

Well, I think the melody does get kind of generic, same with arrangement...

But I still had a special crush on that song with no particular reason lol

I feel like Kaze ni Mukau Hana starts off beautifully, but the rest of the song doesn't really go anywhere.

I'm still in love with Minna de ne <3 She just sounds so beautiful in it, but the song does drag on a bit~

Hitotsu is OK, but sometimes is so slow and i want to go to my bed and sleep.

i like the kaze ni mokau hana so much, even in my top 3, and I think alan's voice match this so much, she did a really really good job.

i am tired with diamond, minna de ne, i'm coming back and so on...
i'm growing interested in over the cloud, 千年 虹， beauty and some mild songs like shiro yi tsubasa, yiyihitabitachi, 木漏れ日, seed of green..

and of course, some eternal songs: kuon no kawa, kaze ni mukau hana, 群青の谷...

I don't really like Venus Flower that much (never liked it much so it kind of misses the point of the thread but whatever). Every time I'm randomly listening to alan songs and Venus Flower comes up I'm thinking something like "This song isn't that good. What song is it... ohh of course, it's Venus Flower."

I hate to sound like everyone else, but I'd have to agree about Kaze ni Mukau Hana. I do like the song overall, as a matter of fact I used to listen to the song on repeat when it first came out, but nowadays I don't think I ever even listen through the whole song without skipping to the next song... it feels like just more and more of the same thing after the intro...

Ah yes, I've never enjoyed Venus Flower... I just don't like it at all.

- Sora Uta. It was one of the first songs that turned me onto alan but it's really lacking in some ways and I never listen to/enjoy it anymore even though at first I just loved it.
- Though I don't think it's really "lacking" like above, Red Cliff became this way for me as well. I don't listen to it anymore.
- I loved Swear, now it annoys me to hear it coming on: "kimi no kokoro ni fuku kazemo.." Urrgh.. *click to next song immediately*

Those are the only songs I was obsessed with that just didn't age well for me :D
