I finally decided to sign up here, since I've seen pommy mention it a few times over at AHS and, well, alan's one of my favorite singers and it couldn't hurt to keep further tabs on her, you know? Plus I noticed that alan fans are mostly a peaceful, kind bunch of people, which creates a nice environment for a forum.

My name's Kristin, and if you're over at AHS you might know me as InoriNoUta (and you might hate me lol but I try not to be THAT mean...). I'm studying English literature and Japanese culture/language at university here in NY, but I'll be graduating soon and my dream is to be a freelance author. I've written two novels so far, and I'll be seeking an agent later on this year, so we'll see how that goes.

My other Asian musical interests are mostly Japanese -- Ayu, Dir en grey, BUCK-TICK, Shiina Ringo, rurutia, Kalafina -- but my friend just introduced me to Sa Dingding, who she said is similar to alan in terms of experimental style and gorgeous singing.
