I check the price of plane ticket from Canada to Japan and I think I can afford that. However, can anyone here tell me where I can stay though and what is the cost of food and hotel? How can I get a ticket for myself remains another question.

it would be a good oportunity to stay a week or two, if you have enough money and time. the plan ticket is the same, if you stay a weekend or a weekso it's better to enjoy japan a lil bit.
you can save money if you share a room, or if you stay in a guest hotel.
also, the food is not very expensive, you can find very good stuffs for a cheap price.

so if you wanna stay a week in tokyo :
40$*7 (hotel) + 20$*7 (food)+ others (subway, cab, fun)20$*7= 280 + 140 + 140 = 700$ + flight.
you can share the price of the hotel room, and also taxi or even food if you are two or more.

maybe somebody else'll have better advices, but i think these prices are pretty close to the reality :)

please someone explain me step by step how i can use nico nico

here's how I did it:

1. go to the website
2. click on that bright yellow button on the top left hand side of the website
3. click on the silver, long button on the right (below a thicker golden button)
4. open Google Translate in another window/tab
5. follow the instructions. The Google Translate is amazingly accurate in this case. But anyways if I remember correctly the first page after you click that silver button is for email, then you click the black button at the bottom and fill in other details like username, birthday etc.)
6. go to your email to click the activation link

... and then pester Pommy for the link to the video

now if only someone can tell me how to record the video...

I didn't think about that...I was thinking (my paranoia kicked in) that what if people at the concert are happy and we're watching nico nico all happy and then during the encore, alan announce she's going back to China *_*

It splits a big file into how many parts you want and then you can upload those parts separately~
We just download all of the parts and we use the same program to join them together

Hjsplit is free and no viruses!
