| I went to the Fireworks/Music Festival at Ibaragi Prefecture today(9/18). Alan was the last one to perform. She appeared after the first half of the fireworks in a white/beige dress with mini-skirt and sang 3 songs.
1. Nada Sousou (the same version as heard on 'KnMH' single') 2. Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru (Of course, the full version!) 3. Natsukashii Mirai (along with the fireworks)
Her performing timeslot was a bit short considering she is the most famous artist perfomed at the event today. Some unknown Duo guys got to sing like 5 songs or sth. However, the good thing was that, in the afternoon, when any artists finished singing a song, the audience rarely applauded 'cuz their main interest was probably the fireworks which started at 6.30. But when Alan finished singing Nada Sousou, most of the audience clapped for her. I was so glad to see that! :D
As for the new song, I was also so glad that I could hear the full version of the song before the world today. The whole song was, in short, beautifully haunting. Even though there was no Tibetan wail, no extreme high notes and those stuff, the haunting melody, Alan's exquisite vocal and way of singing and the beautifully written sorrowful/painful lyrics made the song so awesome. It should be my and everyone's most favorite Alan's song soon. I admired everyone who produced this song. Such a great masterpiece! :) (And FYI, she repeats the first verse again in the higher key at the last part of song)
And when she was singing Natsukashii Mirai, the fireworks were also lighting up the sky. The song did fit the fireworks and the atmosphere quite well. At the last Tibetan wail part in the song, the most magnificent golden fireworks lit up the sky and ended her performance. The audience then gave a big round of applause. I have to admit it was the most epic combination of music and fireworks I've ever seen in my life. XD;
And also, while she was performing, I sneaked to the first row and waved at Alan 2 times. She also waved me back 2 times and smiled at me as well. I was so happy!!! She's such a lovely girl. ;P It was a great evening at Ibaragi with beautiful fireworks and our singing angel. ^_^
Sorry for the long post! ^^;

Loved that part XD She's so cute, I just can imagine the scene ! What you say about the full song makes me so impatient to hear it ! So no wailing / high notes ? |

| ^Yeah, I don't think there were any extreme high notes. But I think, even without those, the song itself is already so beautiful. :D The structure of the song, the lyrics to the song and how Alan expresses her emotion through her voice are what made it (even more) beautiful, IMO. If there was anything special, it might be the last part of the song where she repeated the first verse(Hitomi wo tojita ima mo...) in higher key with stronger emotion and more powerful, but ended the song with pure simplicity. :) |
