Thanks to Alan's sharing, i know more about Tibetan history and culture

Alan recommended a poem about missing/love/romance written by the 6th Dalai Lama(the former leader of Tibetan Buddhism), Tshangs dbyangs Rgya mtsho in Tibetan in 300 years ago.
((ya, ROMANTIC(LOVE) poem written by Dalai Lama which was translated into over 20 languages and affect Chinese and Tibetan literature deeply ))
It was composed into a folk by Tibetan..


He,the leader of the religion, pursued love which is not allowed, so he wrote poem to express his feeling

lyric translated to Chinese/Eng from Tibetan:

Once for a whole day
in a temple with burning incense I meditated
suddenly I seemed to hear
the resonance of your recitation in my ear

Once for a whole eve
I listened to the soulful chant in relief
not for enlightment in quest
but to feel your living breath

Once for a whole month
I turned all prayer wheels in earnest
not for repenting sins
but to touch your fingerprints

Once for a whole year
on all fours to dust I came near
not for worshipping gods
but to feel your warmth in love

Once for a whole life
I journeyed through ten thousand spires
not for rebirth to complete
but to meet you in destiny

Once in a split second
I may ascend as a spirit
not for eternity
but to bless with joy and security

那一夜，我聽了一宿梵唱，
不為參悟，只為尋你的一絲氣息。

那一月，我轉過所有經輪，
