Yes, other than introducing herself, she was speaking in Mandarin. I wouldn't say she's forgotten all of it since - if I remember correctly - there's a video from last year where she addresses her Japanese fans in Japanese....but I'm given to understand she's not nearly as fluent as she once was.

In regards to the song, so far it's sounding like your typical J-pop song, and since the show looks like it's geared towards children (Thomas the Tank Engine gone Mecha, lol awesome), I'm not expecting to hear too much of the usual flourish that makes alan stand out....but that remains to be seen once we get the final product.

It's very poppy, after listening to it a few times, I like it. You can hear alan's distinctive voice!

I'm a little bit shocked... I don't know about the song, I need to listen to it more... I'm used to Ayu doing the "cute voice" but I never heard alan doing it! XD

This is a really happy song, wow, it sounds so different from Minna de ne (another cute pop song).
I like it, and it's ok, anyway, the other song is a sad ballad.

It took a few listens, but the song is growing on me a little bit more each time. I'm not really accustomed to "cutesy" alan (like with Swear) but it's not a bad song. It does seem to fit the anime lol XD
