A few days ago, alan posted on Weibo "I just made an important decision, will you guys support me?"

No one knew what she was talking about, but someone from Yuehua told me that alan's contract with Yuehua is only by albums, so her contract can be renewed after 2 albums.

alan has been flying to Japan a lot, so it seems she is working on both her Chinese and Japanese albums. Since she is with Sony now, that's why her 2 theme songs for the play and the anime won't be released on CD.

According to the same person that told me her contract info, he said that alan is not really happy in Yuehua. The quality is never up to her standards back in Japan and Sony has always been interested in her since her Avex debut.

alan said she wanted to return to China because she wanted to spend more time with her family, but right now...her parents are in Sichuan. They don't like Beijing, so alan feel like it's fine to focus on her career right now!

O my God, let's hope it's true, I completely gave up on the hope to see her attempt again a career in Japan!! Sony seems a very nice company, I can't wait to see someone do justice to her talent and voice!
I didn't imagine alan was unsatisfied with the quality at Yuehua, but I guess Avex was good at pulling out high quality melodies (even if that company remains a Nest of Evil with some Very Questionable Marketing Decisions...)
Anyway, I'm SO HAPPY, and I really, really hope it's true. Alan's right with pretending high quality for her amazing voice!!

By the way it was pretty obvious she wouldn't be happy with Yuehua, and that she still has potential to unveil, and I have a feeling she'll have her momentum with Sony. I believe she's made the best choice, and she now has one foot in China and the other one in Japan.

i still have a problem with her japanese songs because of the language and the way she sounds singing in japanesese but the arangements are usually very very beautiful... so i am hoping for something good to come out of all of this ;)

I was a little late to the game only having read this thread yesterday, so I wasn't thinking about April Fools Day! I was rejoicing hearing alan was going to a major label, and one that I always admired for their audio quality. This was going to be alan's great opportunity... but then it was only a joke. I miss alan!
