The songs aren't my kind of listen, but it's really nice to hear her sing in Japanese again.

Just bought it! It was kind of sad though one of the CD shops I visited told me they'd no longer stock up alan's albums. But it's good to see that this forum is quite active :D

I'm not sure if I actually like these two new Japanese songs actually. I still purchased the CD anyways but I hope they grow on me.

I think the songs are okay, I guess I over-hyped them in my mind because I was so excited for a Japanese alan single lol XD

I still really wanted a studio version of the song from the play though  

I don't really like it, sadly.
For me it's really irrelevant that she's singing in japanese, or chinese, I'm perfectly fine with both. I already knew DREAM EXPRESS wasn't going to be that good from the preview. First Love is cute enough, but really nothing more than mediocre. I think I'll buy it at some point, but there are some Alan singles I want to buy before this.
(Tbh, I'm satisfied with her chinese career right now, so I can't wait for her new chinese album!)
